Local podcast Sleep Tight Stories featured on Spotify Family Premium in Australia

Charlottetown, PE, November 11, 2020, ZEXPRWIRE,  With millions of downloads and ranked in the top podcasts for kids and families, Spotify Australia has chosen Prince Edward Island based podcast Sleep Tight Stories to be featured in a multimedia campaign promoting their Premium Family service.

“It’s the perfect podcast for us to promote to parents for their kid’s bedtime,” Steph Gray, from Spotify Australia says. “The creative will run across CUTV, social and other video digital channels.”

The podcast has been downloaded millions of times by children and their families around the world, and in the US is ranked in the top 10 on Spotify and Apple Podcasts in Kids & Family and Stories for Kids categories. A recent distribution agreement with Jiosaavn in India, helps to solidify the podcasts’ top 10 ranking of podcasts for kids in Asia.

Sleep Tight Stories was started by Stratford, PEI based husband and wife team, Sheryl and Clark MacLeod.

“The inspiration for Sleep Tight Stories and all the podcasts that followed came from a former student of Sheryl telling her how much they missed her classroom story time,” says Clark the producer for Sleep Tight Media team and host of Sleep Tight Relax another popular podcast. “We tried other mediums, but podcasts proved to be the perfect vehicle for sharing stories.”

Sleep Tight Stories, brings new and captivating bedtime stories twice weekly, for children aged 5 – 12 and their families. A recent episode “Squinty and The Dog” was dedicated to Island sensation “Lilith, the pig that fell from the sky”. Past episodes have featured stories by Atlantic Canadian based authors Patti Larsen, Wendy MacLeod, and Deirdre Kessler.

“Bedtime can be difficult for families. Our podcasts and stories can help with easing sleep time routines, literacy development and language acquisition,” says Sheryl the voice of Sleep Time Stories. “All while providing a window to our culture, expanding a child’s imagination, and bringing them joy.”
